A Month in Mongolia

Month_in_MongoliaI am delighted that A Month in Mongolia is now out in paperback and on Kindle. This is a casual photo travelogue of early trips to the vast and beautiful country of Mongolia. It’s got 80 pages, 90 pictures and 5 custom maps.

I am particularly excited about the Kindle version, in which the maps serve as thumbnails which you can click to access online versions of the maps, hosted by MapBox. The online maps are accessible on Kindle Fire via wi-fi, and even more readily explored using a free Kindle reader for computer. And if you don’t have a Fire, you can go straight to the free Kindle app for your computer. I am especially hoping this will make the book – and maps – available to my friends and colleagues in Mongolia!

I’ve posted bits of the maps as I’ve developed them. Now you can explore them here, as well as see them in context in the book.

I hope you enjoy my little book and the maps I’ve had so much fun creating to go with it!
